While many healthcare facilities, including Stafford, offer long term care, we are one of the few that also provides a variety of short term post-operative or rehabilitation services as well, all designed for the patient who no longer needs hospitalization but is not quite ready to complete their recovering at home. So when injury, illness or accident has limited your ability to live independently and short term care is necessary, our team and healthcare professionals and therapists will give you the care you need to return you to as much independence as possible and to get you back home.

Stafford Healthcare has one of the highest staff to patient ratios in the state. We are staffed to accept admissions seven days per week. Our medical, nursing rehabilitation team work to inspire confidence that the patient is being treated with the highest quality of care to provide the services when the goal is to return home or to reach your prior level of function.

Medicare and/or most insurance plans cover these skilled nursing and therapy services after a qualifying hospital stay.
